We’re very excited by the new Cadence focus on system design and development, so we’re particularly proud to join the Cadence System Realization Alliance.
Foresight announces the formation of and initial membership in their new Affiliates Program.
I guess we’ve all encountered gadget user interfaces that were less than optimal, if not outright stupid. Huge numbers of embedded devices with touch screens are appearing on the market. Given this flood of tactile deprivation, I was thankful to see Niall Murphy’s recent article on Embedded.com with some very helpful UI “design tips”. If you’re designing an embedded system and considering the use of a touch screen, please, please read his article.
The OMG apparently plans to release their SOA tailored SoaML early in 2009.
We discuss the application of the RAMS methodology to Software Defined Radio design. Foresight has been used very successfully on a number of JTRS-related SDR projects, and we share some of the more notable results and how they were achieved.
