Foresight Introduces License Lease Option

The new licensing option gives users access to Foresight’s powerful tools on a short-term basis to support unexpected spikes in tool usage, finite term projects and other situations that require extraordinary flexibility.

Scottsdale, AZ — April 08, 2008 – Foresight Systems M&S (Foresight), a developer of advanced visualization software for the design of complex highly constrained systems is pleased to announce a short term lease based licensing option.

“We’re very excited by the opportunity to support our loyal users who might need additional licenses during an especially intense period,” said Dean Stevens, President of the Commercial Systems Group.  Mr. Stevens continued, “This flexible licensing option also enables us to tailor our terms for users who have a defined short term need for system visualization, but may not be able to commit to a normal license agreement.”

Terms of the lease option are specific to each client, but some of the general guidelines include:

  • The period of a lease may be as short as one quarter up to a maximum of eight quarters.
  • Lease payments for the specified term will be due in advance at the beginning of each quarter.
  • If the software is converted to a conventional license at the end of the lease term, or at any time during the lease term, 100% of the amount paid during the term will be applied to the standard list price.

Foresight’s account managers are prepared to discuss this options with customers immediately.
