"I recently have been able to compare our Foresight model results with actual CNI hardware in the lab. The results from the lab are correlating nicely so far. The lab data correlates much better than I would have hoped, actually. I generally worry about microsecond to microsecond performance comparisons (since the model cannot be as complex as the actual system). Also, it's [very difficult to get] everything configured correctly to do a fair "apples to apples" test. Generally [the test team doesn't] have too much flexibility to set up sophisticated tests. However, we did a fairly high resolution model of our hardware (and software) components, so it tracks rather well when looking at critical latencies."

Gerry is an accomplished, results-oriented executive with a broad range of experience in management of high tech solutions business, specifically information processing systems, high level systems design, equipment positioning and identification systems, global supply chain management systems, and entrepreneurial operations. Gerry is an international executive with extensive contacts, knowledgeable and well versed in global business operations, philosophies, and practices. A highly skilled and insightful leader with a proven record of developing and growing business.
Gerry's work experience includes senior executive and general management positions in the IBM World Trade Corporation, SAVI Technology, Amtech Systems, INFORMART (Trammell Crow Company) and Foresight Systems. Gerry was co-founder and principal of Rail Performance Group (RP4G) and Air Cargo Network (ACN). He has also served as market development consultant to Motorola Integrated Systems Division. Gerry is the current CEO of Foresight Systems M&S.
Gerry holds a BS degree in engineering from Mississippi State University and an MBA in Finance from Tulane University as well as other post-graduate education from the Center for International Studies in Geneva Switzerland.
Gerry is currently a member of the International Standards Organization (ISO) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Walt has over 30 years of logistics engineering experience and is recognized as one of the foremost Army logistics thinkers. Walt developed and modeled algorithms for repair parts stocking decisions which reduced inventory levels while improving world wide availability of stocked items. He chaired and led the Department of Defense (DoD) procurement and implementation of bar code technology, Logistical Marking and Reading System (LOGMARS), returning a savings of $110 million within 3 years. As Commander of a Corps Materiel Management Center in Germany he developed a software asset visibility system yielding $24 million in cost avoidance charges.
Serving at NATO headquarters in Brussels and the US Embassy in Germany, Walt was instrumental in the development of the NATO communications software development center. As Chief of the Joint Programs Section, Office of Defense Cooperation, US Embassy, he directed multi-million dollar cooperative defense research programs and was the project manager for the $2.3B Patriot/Roland agreement signed by the US and German secretaries of Defense. Walt advised the US Ambassador in Germany on defense cooperation issues and made recommendations to congressional staff for enabling legislation to support international joint ventures. As the personal representative of the Commander-In-Chief, United States Army Europe, to the German ministries of Defense, Finance and Transportation, Walt has developed deep international contacts in key policy making positions.
As national president of the American German Business Club (AGBC), Walt worked closely with the US Department of Commerce and the US Embassy in Germany to expand and strengthen mid-level business and commercial ties between US and German companies.
He has published numerous articles on logistics for the Army Logistician, Handling and Shipping trade journal, Armed Forces Comptroller and the Defense Institute for Security Assistance Management, of which he is a graduate. He is co-author of the text book Management of Business Logistics used by the Pennsylvania State University.
Walt is a Certified Professional Logistician, has a BS in Accounting and Management and a MS in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of the Army War College and the Command and General Staff College.
Paul has spent the last twenty years of his career developing software tools intended to enable engineers to reach the next level in design productivity and system capability. From the development of IC layout tools at Mentor Graphics, to MCM and PCB manufacturability analysis tools at Savantage, Inc. and systems-level modeling and simulation tools at NuThena Systems, Inc. and Foresight Systems M&S, Paul has steadily moved forward in the design flow on his quest to identify the inflection points where better tools can have the greatest impact on the engineering process. He has also spent a significant amount of time, in the trenches, assisting design teams in the use of these tools to solve real problems on DoD programs such as the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Site Terminals (FAB-T), and Future Combat Systems (FCS.) Along the way, Paul has developed a keen appreciation for the problems facing systems designers in the development of today's most complex high performance systems and has developed some proven strategies for reducing risk and ensuring project success.
In addition to hands-on code development, Paul has also managed high performing software development teams at Mentor Graphics as the IC Station engineering manager and at Foresight Systems, Inc. as VP of Engineering. In these positions, Paul gained a reputation for high integrity as a people manager, as a catalyst for teamwork and good organizational health, and the ability to manage complex software development projects to a successful conclusion.
Paul graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 1986, earning a BS in Physics. He is currently a member of the International Council On Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
